NFL player Rodgers' calf no longer an issue plans to be ready -- except aesthetically

                            Aaron Rodgers ready after injury

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- For a couple months after the Green Bay Packers' 2014 season concluded, Aaron Rodgers was still unable to go through full workouts. The left calf injury that slowed the league's Most Valuable Player over the final three games continued to bother him.

As organized team activities began this week, though, any pain Rodgers felt in February and March has since subsided. There is, however, a lingering effect from the injury.
"I wish my calf would come back together a little bit," Rodgers said Thursday. "It doesn't look the same. That was kind of my calling card, was having nice-looking calves. But yeah, hopefully at some point that will return fully.

"But I have no restrictions with my body. I'm feeling good. I'm at a decent weight where I want to be. It's just a matter of maintaining that and trying to be as ready as possible when the end of July hits."
Rodgers initially suffered the injury Week 16 in Tampa Bay.
Four months later, at least the physical pain is gone for Rodgers. "Aaron looked great," McCarthy said after practice. "He's getting better."

"It hasn't fully, aesthetically come back to where I wish it was," he said. "It definitely took a couple of months until I could really get into some workouts in the offseason where I could push it to the max."

NFL Player Bill Belichick had nothing to say about deflate-gate

Bill Belichick says“That was a long time ago. We’re on to next year,”

New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick met with reporters on Friday, making his first public comments since the NFL handed down harsh penalties for deflate-gate.
In true Belichick fashion, he didn’t have much to say about the ordeal.
“That was a long time ago. We’re on to next year,” Belichick said per the Boston Globe. “This is 2015. You can forget about last year. That was last year.”

While Tom Brady is appealing his four-game suspension, Patriots owner Robert Kraft opted not to appeal the $1 million fine and loss of two draft picks levied by the league as a result of the deflated football controversy. Belichick said he’s on board with that move.
“Yeah, [Kraft] made a statement on that last week,” Belichick said.
The team is coming off a Super Bowl, yet deflate-gate has dominated headlines over the past few months. Belichick said the controversy hasn’t gotten in the way of the team’s focus headed into the upcoming season.
“We’re just working hard every day to come out here and get better. Coaches, players, everybody in the organization,” Belichick said. “Each day we’re trying to make it a little bit better than the day before. That’s where we’re at, that’s what we’re going to keep doing.”
With Brady’s suspension

in place (for now, pending his appeal), Belichick was asked if he’s preparing to start the season with second-year pro Jimmy Garoppolo as the starter.
His answer was a classic Belichick non-answer.
“We’re just going day-by-day right now. Everybody’s working hard, trying to get better,” Belichick said.

Adrian Peterson NFL Player rant makes him look worse and vents on Twitter about honoring contract.

            Adrian Peterson looks even worse

Adrian Peterson is an all-time great football player, but he's not coming off well this offseason.
For some reason Peterson thinks that his 2014, with only one game played because of a messy legal situation that involved injuring his young son when he disciplined him with a switch, should lead to the Vikings giving him more guaranteed money. Which is crazy. Much crazier than his request to be traded, actually.
Peterson took to Twitter to try to set the record straight, with a long series of tweets.
In general, Peterson is right. NFL players should get as much as they can when they can get it. Their careers are short and they play a dangerous game. So when a player has leverage, take advantage of
it.

To repeat: When. A. Player. Has. Leverage. Peterson has none right now.

It this all unfair? In Peterson's case ... no. He missed most of last year because he got in legal trouble, and whether you think he got a raw deal or if he didn't get punished enough, I think we can all agree he didn't do anything over the past year to earn $14.75 million more in guaranteed money. Peterson has acted like a victim through his whole ordeal. It's a bit odd.

UPDATE: But wait, there's more! Peterson returned later on Thursday night to say that all of this is just because he is frustrated that the union could not get guaranteed contracts four years ago when it negotiated the CBA. Huh.

Ray McDonald NFL player was arrested for second time and releases after some legal activities

Ray McDonald gets arrested for second time

McDonald, the NFL defensive lineman who was arrested on Monday for an alleged domestic violence incident, was arrested again on Wednesday. This time McDonald was arrested for violating a restraining order that was issued as a result of Monday's incident, the Santa Clara Police Department said. At least this time around there's no NFL team embarrassed by him, considering he was cut on Monday by the Chicago Bears.

McDonald spent his first eight seasons with the San Francisco 49ers before the team cut him last December, following an arrest for domestic violence (he wasn't charged) and an accusation of sexual assault.

McDonald was out on $15,000 bail after Monday's incident. McDonald violated the order at a residence in Santa Clara on Wednesday afternoon. On Monday he was arrested after he was accused of physically assaulting his ex-fiancee while she held their child. McDonald's lawyer said there was an argument but no physical confrontation.

On Wednesday, after being informed McDonald had violated the restraining order, Santa Clara detectives found McDonald at a nearby Togo's Sandwiches restaurant. The police report said McDonald was arrested without incident on Wednesday.

Release of Ray McDonald

After 6 Months NFL Player Eric Berry Recover Hodgkin Lymphoma Cancer

Eric Berry Finishes  Lymphoma Treatment

Chiefs coach says Eric Berry has completed cancer treatments, waiting on results. Andy Reid: Eric Berry “doing well” after finishing cancer treatments. Kansas City Chiefs safety Eric Berry has completed another step in his battle with Hodgkin lymphoma. The former first-round pick has finished treatment for the disease that caused him to put his football career on hold last November.

Chiefs coach Andy Reid said Eric Berry’s recovery from Hodgkin lymphoma continues to go well.

“Eric is doing well,” Reid said Tuesday, the first day of organized team activities. “He’s going to get his big end-of-the-school (year) exam down here. He’s been through all the treatments, so now the doctor is going to sit down with him and go over exactly what the results of all that are.

“So we don’t have that, and Eric doesn’t have that quite yet, but everything up to this point has point has been very positive from the doctor and from Eric. So I think we’re heading in the right direction with that.”

In April, Evan Berry told Terez A. Paylor of the Kansas City Star his brother's treatment was going well and he didn't "really see it affecting him."

The 26-year-old Berry had become one of the NFL's best, most feared safeties in five seasons with the Chiefs. He has made three Pro Bowls and was a first-team All-Pro in 2013 after recording 73 tackles, 10 passes defended and three interceptions with two returned for touchdowns.

Berry only appeared in six games last season before the Chiefs placed him on the non-football illness list in late November. He was the fifth overall pick by Kansas City in the 2010 draft and started 31 of a possible 32 games in 2012-13.

Elimination Chamber 2k15

                               " Elimination Chamber 2k15"

WWE Elimination Chamber is just two weeks after the Payback special. Conventional wisdom would say that two weeks simply isn’t enough time to properly develop angles heading into a pay-per-view.However, ahead of the WWE Network-exclusive Elimination Chamber on May 31, there are plenty of candidates who could be in line for a big push. Where there will be no lack of excitements & also there will be 2 championship matches. In the main event there will be a match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

John Cena, the 15th times world champion. He has done everything to keep his United States Title.
After three straight defeats on pay-per-view at the hands of John Cena, Rusev is another star who deserves to pick up some momentum ahead of Elimination Chamber.

Last monday night Raw,we saw how Kevin Owens disrespected the United championship titles.
Owens isn't a rookie. He's a guy who has a vast amount of experience in the wrestling business. This push is the least he deserves, especially considering where he was several months ago before he turned on Sami Zayn.

Cena vs. Owens has the potential to be a defining night in Owens' WWE career. A push in the run-up to the event is imperative if that match is to go off with a bang.So it is going to be a big match for Cena  and aslo for the new  challanger
Kevin Owens in the elimoination chamber.

                                                              Main Event

Seth Rollins has been a fighting champion since winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestlemania 31.
Consider how Ambrose got his title match at Elimination Chamber. He crashed two Seth Rollins segments on Raw this past Monday to demand a title shot. In the show’s finale, Ambrose manhandled everyone in The Authority and put Rollins’ head on cement blocks until he got his wish.
Ambrose made Rollins look as weak as he’s ever been. This is your WWE heavyweight champion, ladies and gentlemen.

As there has been many matches for the WWE Championship, and most them rollings have won.
So he might have more courage than anybody.

But on the other hand,Dean Ambrose is also confident about his match. So,now wwe fans are egarly waiting for the matches and for the main event where there will be a winner ,but both from the previous team called "Shield "

Bangladesh Pacer Rubel Hossain Targets India Series For Comeback

Rubel Hossain suffered a Grade 1 left side strain prior to the second Test against Pakistan earlier this month, which according to the team physio Bayjedul Islam would have taken three to four weeks to recover, a Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) statement said on Tuesday.

Injured Bangladesh fast bowler Rubel Hossain is gearing up for a return to his national team fold resuming responsibilities as its main strike bowler against India in an upcoming series.
India will play a Test and three One-Day Internationals (ODI) from June 10 to 24 away at Bangladesh. India defeated Bangladesh in a World Cup quarter-final clash in March.
Hossain suffered a Grade 1 left side strain prior to the second Test against Pakistan earlier this month, which according to the team physio Bayjedul Islam would have taken three to four weeks to recover, a Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) statement said on Tuesday.
Hossain has undergone three weeks of intense rehabilitation process since his injury and has started bowling at practice with a shorter run-up.
Hossain had an excellent World Cup campaign as Bangladesh's main strike bowler and has been their bowling spearhead for a while, particularly in the shorter formats of the game of Cricket.
Bangladesh would hope he is able to regain full fitness before the Test match against India, beginning on June 10.
The aggressive quickie would have an opportunity to get some competitive match-practice if he plays in the final round of the third Bangladesh Cricket League (BCL) competition, starting May 24.
Rubel has been named among the 23 players that compose the Bangladesh preliminary squad for the India tour

Pakistan Drop Saeed Ajmal, Recall Shoaib Malik, Mohammad Sami for T20Is vs Zimbabwe

Lahore: Pakistan on Tuesday announced surprise recalls for former captain Shoaib Malik and paceman Mohammad Sami but left out struggling spinner Saeed Ajmal for the two Twenty20s internationals against Zimbabwe.
Malik, the 33-year-old all-rounder, has not figured since a poor showing against Bangladesh in the last of his 59 T20 internationals in Dhaka in 2014. (Zimbabwe land in Pakistan for first international tour in six years)
But a return to form in the recently concluded "Super8" domestic T20 cup has led to him being recalled, said chief selector Haroon Rasheed. ('Horrors of 2009 terrorist attack still haunt me')
"In the absence of Ajmal who needs some time to adjust to his remodelled action, we needed someone who could bowl also and Malik has shown some good recent form," Rasheed told AFP.
Off-spinner Ajmal was banned by the International Cricket Council last year and has been struggling with control since his new bowling action was cleared by the ICC in February. ('Horrors of 2009 terrorist attack still haunt me')
He was left out of Pakistan's World Cup squad, and then returned unsuccessfully on the tour of Bangladesh last month. (Pakistan welcome Zimbabwe as international cricket returns)
"Ajmal is an asset and as a professional he knows he needs some time, so he will play for (Worcestershire) county in England to gain his confidence back," said Rasheed.
Sami, 34, was once regarded as one of the world's fastest bowlers after he burst on to the scene in the early 2000s. But he last played for Pakistan on the tour of Sri Lanka in June 2012.
The 15-man squad also sees the return of batsman Umar Akmal who was left out of the Bangladesh tour for exhibiting a "poor attitude" during the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand in February and March.
There are two uncapped players, 19-year-old opening batsman Noman Anwar who has been in prolific form and all-rounder and former Pakistan U19 captain Imad Wasim.
Anwar was declared top batsman in the domestic Twenty20 event after scoring 270 runs at a strike-rate of 162.65 for Sialkot Stallions, including a match-winning 54-ball 97 in the final against Lahore Lions on Sunday.
"We have selected a combination of youth and experience with an eye on (next year's) World Twenty20 where we will need experience as well," said Rasheed.
Zimbabwe arrived early Tuesday to become the first Test playing team to tour Pakistan since a militant attack on the Sri Lankan team bus in 2009, which led to the suspension of all international cricket in the country.
The two Twenty20 matches will be played in Lahore on Friday and Sunday.
Squad: Shahid Afridi (captain), Sarfraz Ahmed, Ahmed Shehzad, Mohammad Hafeez, Mukhtar Ahmed, Noman Anwar, Shoaib Malik, Umar Akmal, Mohammad Rizwan, Anwar Ali, Hammad Azam, Imad Wasim, Bilawal Bhatti, Wahab Riaz, Mohammad Sami
